COGENERATION PLANT OF I GIGLI SHOPPING CENTER

Refurbishment of the Cogeneration plant that supplies electric and thermal energy to the “I Gigli” Shopping Center in Florence. The site is served by No. 2 gas-fired Cogenerators, with a capacity of 550 KW and 730 KW, respectively. The electrical connection to the preferential services of the Shopping Center is made with medium voltage interface through No. 2 transformers that raise the tesion. From the medium voltage sequence is derived the normal and preferential power supply for the Hypermarket and the Common Parts. Cold thermal power is generated by absorption generating machines. Parallel to the design and construction management intervention, Climosfera S.r.l. performed several consulting/modification activities to the plant with implementation of water chillers to cope with the implementation of cooling loads, as well as in the management of the Practices towards the GSE.
