Building Information Modeling

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a methodology composed of tools and processes created to improve and optimise planning, implementation and management during the construction and design phase. It allows every professional to work on a digital model containing all information (data on geometry, materials, load-bearing structure, thermal characteristics and energy performance, systems, costs, safety, maintenance, from design to construction) throughout the entire life cycle of the work until maintenance.
Climosfera, through the use of this methodology, wants to improve all the design phases, optimising time and resources, foreseeing problems that with traditional design could emerge, sometimes, only during the construction phase.

The adoption of this methodology requires us to have an ever-deeper understanding with the professionals who collaborate in the realisation of the project, improving communication and quality. BIM is in fact a collaborative design method as it allows to integrate with a single model the information useful in each design phase: architectural, structural, plant, energy and management. We independently manage coordination and quality control in all different phases of the construction work: design, tender, construction management, commissioning and final delivery to the client.
