A highly innovative project supported by the Green Schools initiative which intends to promote international experiences in Italy on the theme of Green Building Schools The new school of Calmasino wants to represent the first Italian Green School. The new construction is a bioclimatic building, particularly attentive to the ecology of places and materials, with unique and original innovations that have allowed to obtain the maximum energy classification class A, A +, according to the evaluation system. The new school of Calmasino anticipates, by almost nine years, the European Directive. The Directive 2010/31 / EU provides that within December 31, 2020, all new buildings have to be almost zero energy buildings.
