ENERGY AUDIT FOR PUBLIC BUILDINGS
The energy diagnosis covered 17 buildings in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region. The buildings have different intended uses such as: Palace of the Province of Gorizia, Alvarez Palace in Gorizia, headquarters of the Civil Motorization in the provinces of Gorizia and Pordenone, new headquarters of the Province of Pordenone, Province Offices in Trieste, Offices in Udine, and various warehouses in the Region. The audit was developed with the aim of identifying interventions capable of reducing the total energy consumption of end users/total annual electricity consumption of 1,774,400 KWh by 20%.
The diagnostic activity was developed according to the following phases:
- Technical inspections to identify consumption centers, the state of facilities, and collect electricity and gas consumption data;
- Analysis of utility energy policy to reduce consumption;
- Audits and meetings with managers and technicians responsible for maintenance;
- Quantification of energy consumption before/post upgrading interventions;
